Couch Potato Camping, Part 1: Beginner's introduction to camping

2 brief Saturday "classroom" meetings, followed by one overnight camping trip near Spokane, WA. Learn about buying and using basic camping gear, how to use WA State Parks, campfire etiquette and safety, campout cooking, and more! This is an experience is designed to inspire you to get "out there" again. It is not an outdoor survival skills course, and you won't be carrying anything more than a few feet from car to campfire. We will determine where to go based on participant interests and abilities.

What is Included: Campground fees and meal ingredients
What to Pack: A list will be distributed. If you have no budget for gear, we can improvise.
Age Requirements and Difficulty: 18+ easy for everyone
