Frary Peak
Open 24/7

Frary Peak is the tallest mountain in Antelope Island State Park and is one of the most beautiful places near Salt Lake City. On this hike we will drive from Salt Lake City to the park. At the park, we will conduct a quick safety briefing before starting towards the peak. We will stop part way through for photos and snacks before pushing towards the summit with stunning views of the mountains and of the Great Salt Lake. After we return to the parking lot we will drive around the island to try to spot some of the bison which live on the island. I can handle all driving and arranging food for the trip as well as carrying all of the supplies during the hike! I look forward to seeing you out there!

About the Guide or Gear Owner

Howdy! My name is Jake and I am ready to take you on a unique adventure! While I specialize in hiking, backpacking, and car camping, I can also help arrange a variety of experiences including: skiing, sport climbing, diving, whitewater kayaking, motorcycle, and sailing trips. I enjoy making the outdoors accessible to everyone and can help choose an adventure to meet any skill level. I also specialize in outdoor photography and look forward to making sure your social media shows your adventurous side. If you like, I can send you some examples of photos you might want during your hike! A bit about my own adventures: I cut my teeth guiding in Arkansas caves, climbing Hourshoe Canyon Ranch, and on the OHT. Since I left Arkansas, I've hiked extensively in the US, GB, NZ, Greece, with some experience in other countries. My most notable achievements are a Pacific Sail Crossing, a list of Colorado 14ers, Kilimanjaro, Mont Aorai, and the GR131. Are you an international guest? I look forward to welcoming you to the US and to the wonderful state of Utah!
